The New Forest, and it's coastal towns and villages of Lymington and Milford on Sea & Keyhaven, are renowned for its many cycle routes, trails and off-road tracks, ideal for bike hire adventures.

We've curated a selection of our favourite trails in the area, so no paper maps are required. Just download the Komoot mobile phone navigation app, collect your rental bikes and choose your ride from our wide selection of routes. We will help you choose the best ride for your party. Our favourites: Coastal loop
Miles of off road tracks
2-3 hours | 10.5 miles
A glorious circular coastal route through the Keyhaven Nature Reserve to Lymington and back along the Solent Way sea wall. Catch a ferry (seasonal) to historic Hurst Castle if you fancy a detour along the way. There are masses of perfect picnic spots along this jaunt; otherwise you can take a foodie pit stop at the start or finish at the Gun Inn in Keyhaven or cycle down to the excellent Lighthouse seaside bar and restaurant at the Keyhaven end of Hurst Spit.

New Forest on the doorstep
4 -5 hours | 17 miles
A rural circular jaunt from Keyhaven, taking in Sway Tower in the New Forest. Back in time for supper at Milford eateries, The Gun Inn or The Lighthouse. The Pickled Weasel is a great takeaway spot on the village green and a dab hand at home made scotch eggs. A perfect New Forest bike rental route.

The ultimate New Forest Safari
3-5 hours | 24 miles
Worth taking the extra time out for, this fabulous 24 mile round trip cycle to the renowned Filly Inn at Brockenhurst, taking in the 'Big Three' -: the stunning Solent coastline, the New Forest lanes and tracks, and Quayside shopping in Lymington. You'll cover a jaw dropping distance with all the fun and absolutely none of the sweat or muscle ache! Brilliant for a full day, with plenty of scenery and refreshment stops on route. Top tip: stop on the way for coffee or ice cream at Lymington Quay and take a stroll around the riverside boutiques of this coastal Georgian market town.

This route will take you through to Lymington with time for a coffee stop or ramble around the shops and up into the New Forest to the popular Filly Inn in Brockenhurst – and then across the Sway in the New Forest
